Does it work?
Yes! We are all about evidence-based dentistry. Carbamide peroxide has been studied numerous times, and treatment outcomes are well documented. Some products use a light, but the American Dental Association reports that no studies conclude that the light gives any long-term whitening benefits. Other products use charcoal, the American Dental Association also reports that it’s abrasive texture could cause harm by wearing down the tooth enamel instead of whitening the tooth from the inside like carbamide peroxide does. You should expect to see results with our kit in as little as 5 days.

Will I have any permanent tooth sensitivity?
No! Our whitening gel is gentle but sometimes after any whitening treatment, teeth can be sensitive temporarily. If this occurs, you have options to reduce the pain, like the use of a sensitivity toothpaste, taking a day off from whitening, or chewing gum. Studies find that chewing gum could distract you from the temporary sensitivity.

How long does tooth whitening last?
Teeth whitening is not permanent. It varies from person-to-person. The effects of teeth whitening are less likely to last as long if you smoke, eat or drink things that can stain your teeth. Typically, you will want to do periodic touch ups (think of it as dying your hair).

Am I a candidate for tooth whitening?
Most people are candidates for tooth whitening, but again, each situation is unique and it’s best to contact your dental professional. If pregnant, do not use our teeth whitening kit.
